Emma Watson: 'I'm going to university - in America'

Well, possibly. But definitely the "university" bit.

Yes, Harry Potter actress Emma Watson may be on the cover of Italian Vogue this month - and gushing about her new "love affair" with couture. Ahem - but she's also planning to head off to university. And presumably supplement her income while she does so by, well, modelling couture for magazines like Vogue.

Not that her income exactly needs 'supplementing', of course. But I digress.

"I would like to go to university and complete a degree and so that will mean a break from acting," Emma told the Daily Telegraph. "I've always tried to balance my education with my acting career, but I just don't think it will be possible to juggle it with a degree course. I have a need now to study."

And that need, it turns out, may take her Stateside. "'There are excellent universities over there and I am applying at the moment," she says. "If I stay in this country I will read English Literature, and if I go to America I will do a Liberal Arts programme."

Yes. Something tells me Emma would be quite good at the arts. Who knows, she may even make some money from it one day!
