Britney Spears causes mayhem in New York

Well, the blonde bird has landed.

Wearing a grey belted cardigan, jeans and her favourite block heels, here was Britney Spears landing at JFK airport in New York yesterday. Well, she does have a new single and album to promote you know. As well as mayhem to cause.

She also has a new world tour to plug, too. Appearing on a New York radio show, Britney told her fans (that's us, apparently) that she will "definitely" be touring next year - and that her new single 'Womanizer' is "a girl anthem".

"It's a really cool song," she said. "I like the fact that it's so empowering for girls. It's about guys cheating on other girls."

Yeeeaahh! Erm, riiiight! You tell 'em Britney. Girl power!
