Anne Hathaway is no princess

Like Gwyneth Paltrow before her, Anne Hathaway decided there was only one way to shake off her squeaky clean image.... with a pair of killer heels. Anne showed up at the Toronto Film Festival in a festish-style pair of multi-strap PVC black heels, accessorised with a strapless puff dress. The shoes were the main event, after all.

Anne was at the festival to promote her latest film Rachel Getting Married. It's unlikely Anne will be getting married any time soon after splitting up with her boyfriend of four years, an Italian real-estate developer, shortly before he was arrested on fraud and money-laundering charges.

If shoes could speak (and has anyone proven to the contrary?) they would scream: "We're loving this single life!"
