Katie Holmes is a mac girl

That's right, not a PC. A macintosh.

Yes, Katie Holmes is rocking her autumn style, folks. Here she was in between rehearsals in New York yesterday, sporting leggings and a short beige mac. And looking OK - but not as good as she has done in her jeans, I feel.

Mind you, I'm possibly the only one who does feel that. Project Runway fashion guru Tim Gunn is unimpressed with Katie's new look. "I have to say, Katie Holmes has become so much more sophisticated in so many ways, but I think she's in a dip right now. I can't explain it," the clearly confused man told People magazine.

"She ascended from this tomboyish waif look to an incredible sexy sophisticate," he continues. "We realise how much style she's capable of. I don't get it."

Erm, sorry - but when did the post-Tom Cruise Katie ever look like "an incredible sexy sophisticate"? Surely he means "put-upon Hausfrau"? Did I miss a memo?
