Jessica Simpson is smiling - but Tony Romo is still calling Carrie Underwood

For here was the lovely Jessica Simpson - no, she is lovely - leaving Mr Chows restaurant in Beverly Hills on Monday night. Looking just swell* in a pretty red patterened top, denim shorts, platform sandals and what looks suspiciously like a Louis Vuitton bag.

Meanwhile, however, that young Carrie Underwood person has rather insensitively revealed that her ex - Jessica's current - boyfriend, Tony Romo, still calls her.

"The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer," she tells Allure magazine, coolly. Hang on - isn't If The Phone Doesn't Ring, It's Me a country song? Jessica, I think you should cover it! Erm, maybe.
