Naomi Campbell blasts Madonna, defends Victoria Beckham

And who can blame her? For blasting Madonna, I mean.

Naomi Campbell was the guest editor of the Daily Mirror's showbiz section yesterday - well, she did once 'write' a novel, you know - and used the opportunity to speak her mind about Madonna, Victoria Beckham and, erm, Russell Brand.

And her thoughts were...

On Madonna: "I knew about Kabbalah before Madonna got involved. Kabbalah is not a religion, it's a programme. I don't like to get hooked on things like that. It reminds me of AA but just with different words... I am religious. I pray most days and do my thing."

On Victoria Beckham: "When I was going through my hard time recently she was immediately on the phone asking me how I was doing and saying, 'I hope you're well'. She was sweet. We share girl stuff and she is so funny - people just don't know her or get her."

And on Russell Brand: "I don't like him. He's said horrible things about my friend [Kate Moss]. And no one does that! I don't think we should be using him in my column today."

Erm, except of course, they did. By Naomi mentioning how much she dislikes him. Oops!
