Michael Buble and Emily Blunt split, Emily goes out for the night

...with Anne Hathaway. Well, who can blame her?

Yes, many of the women of the world - and their mums - will no doubt be rejoicing today after hearing the news that Canadian crooner Michael Buble has split up with his British girlfriend, actress Emily Blunt, after three years together.

"They are no longer a couple," confirmed Michael's spokesperson Liz Rosenberg (yes, she of Madonna fame), adding that Michael and Emily "remain friends" and "are both extraordinary people with huge talent. Let's wish them well."

Erm, indeed. And here's the first photo of the newly single Emily - out with her Devil Wears Prada co-star Anne Hathaway (who's newly single herself, of course) in London last night.

See, ladies: you're beautiful and stylish and extraordinary women with huge talent. Michael, meanwhile, is having his concert tickets given away every day on Magic FM. So: yay you!
