Mariah Carey visits MTV, is lined up for Fashion Rocks

Ah, Mariah Carey! She's got the celebrity pose perfected. The hand on the sunglasses. The hand slung over the pocket. The slightly knock-kneed thing. Watch and learn, people, watch and learn!

For here was Mimi arriving at the MTV studios in New York yesterday - rocking her fashion (well, her knotted shirt and mini skirt) on the day it was announced that she's performing at Fashion Rocks in September.

Other artistes - and they're definitely artistes - lined up for the concert on 5th September at Radio City Music Hall include the ever-so fashionable Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Rihanna, and the not-quite-so fashionable Keith Urban.

"Fashion Rocks uniquely celebrates the intersection of two of the most sexy cultural paradigms: fashion and music," announced Richard Beckman, president of Vogue publisher Conde Nast, which produces the event.
