Kate Middleton to go into modelling?

Well, the Queen did want her to get a proper job, didn't she? Although... erm... hang on, I'm not sure that quite works.

It was only perhaps a matter of time before Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton was offered modelling work - what with those long, lean limbs and that long, lean hair of hers. And the Daily Express is reporting that exactly that happened when she was at the Nelson Mandela concert recently.

"This chap was wandering past with a couple of young, blonde catwalk-model types," a source tells the paper. "He suddenly stopped when he saw Kate and told her he ran his own modelling agency and that she had fantastic cheekbones and a great figure. She smiled and said thanks and he slipped her his card."

So, will Kate take the mystery man up on his offer? Personally, I think she should. Well, I can just see her in the next Littlewoods catalogue, can't you? You know, modelling crowns or something. Or perhaps bridal gowns. With corgis alongside her. Oh, yes... It's a surefire winner!
