Kate Middleton has a Marilyn Monroe moment at royal wedding
Can you guess which Marilyn Monroe moment it was? That's right - it was the one where she kisses a man in drag!
Not really. It was the one from The Seven-Year Itch. Although sadly I'm afraid I can't show you the photographic evidence.
Yes, Kate Middleton had a slightly embarrassing moment at the wedding of Lady Rose Windsor (nope, I've got no idea who she is, either) at St James's Palace in London on Saturday.
Wearing a diaphanous patterned knee-length dress (with a fitted jacket and a fascinator, natch), Kate actually didn't stand over a subway grate - but the wind did catch her dress and lift it up in a Marilyn Monroe-esque manner. Fortunately, she was wearing a slip underneath it which didn't blow upwards. Phew.
Still, this wasn't the most interesting fashion event of the day: Princess Anne stunned everyone by wearing the same outfit she wore to Prince Charles and Lady Diana's wedding in 1981. Imagine (...getting into it 27 years later)!
