John Mayer writes a love song for Jennifer Aniston
Presumably he doesn't take the Sara Bareilles approach to such things, then. Although Jen may not have asked for it, of course.
Yes, it appears that Jennifer Aniston may have helped John Mayer get over a touch of writer's block/creative angst. The singer-songwriter recently told USA Today: "I'm not sure when I'll come back with another record. I feel like I've done everything I can do with this set of tools." And then promptly put down his Black & Decker jigsaw and goggles.
Although he may have meant "guitars" and "chords". And if so: well, apparently, Jen may have helped him on that front - because there are rumours that John's written a new song for/about her, called Moonbeam.
So does he praise her long, glossy hair in it? Talk of how her body is not so much a wonderland, as a full-blown Disney theme park? Well, apparently the chorus goes something like: "I'll be there for you/When the rain starts to pour" - so either way, I have a hunch it'll be a hit.
