Jennifer Aniston 'lets John Mayer call the shots'

John Mayer was out and about in New York yesterday - here he was hitting the gym ahead of his gig last night (just look at those trainers - where else could he be going?).

And although there are no reports so far of Jennifer Aniston's presence in the crowd at the Jones Beach Theater, "sources" (ah, they get everywhere, don't they?) have been gossiping about the couple's behaviour when Jen followed him on tour to London.

Jen and John stayed at the Dorchester Hotel - in the same suite once used by Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, dontcha know - and a "source" tells New! magazine that when they checked in, "Jen was happy to let John take control, even though she's the bigger star.

"Throughout their stay, she was quite willing to defer any questions to her man, and later, dining in the restaurant, she was hanging on his every word."

Imagine! A celebrity acting just like a normal woman madly in love! Whatever next - kissing?

Johnnifer apparently also took in a show - the musical Marguerite - and did a spot of shopping at Fortnum & Mason while they were in Olde Londone Towne. See? American celebs - they're just like any other American tourists. Bless 'em.
