David Tennant grabs a spot of lunch in Stratford

Did he choose a sandwich? A wrap? A burger? And did he go for apple juice? Or orange? See, you have to be wracked with indecision when you're playing Hamlet.

And playing Hamlet is, indeed, what Doctor Who David Tennant is doing in Stratford-upon-Avon. The play opens at the RSC this Thursday and has, of course, been sold out since David was born in Bathgate in 1971.

And here he was strolling through the streets of Stratford yesterday - lunch in hand, and sporting an Abercrombie & Fitch sweatshirt, a Disneyland baseball cap and what look suspiciously like New Balance trainers. See? He's ditched the Converse - he must be in character. Especially if he couldn't decide whether to ditch them or not...
