Angelina Jolie gives birth to a boy and girl

That's right - no more Demis Roussos frocks for Ms Jolie!

I don't quite understand the headlines this morning which read: "Angelina Jolie gives birth to twins" - as if that's some sort of surprise (twins! Imagine!). Because clearly the headline this morning is that her twins were a boy and a girl. Oh yes, and that they were born.

Angelina had the twins by Caesarian section at the Lenval clinic in Nice last night - the birth having been moved forward "for medical reasons" - and Brad Pitt was there when they were delivered.

And the names? Well, the girl is Vivienne Marcheline (named after Angelina's late mother) and the boy is Knox Leon (named after a famous Fort). And according to Ange's doctor, Dr Michel Sussmann, the actress and her babies are "doing marvellously well".

Aww. Félicitations, guys!
