Angelia Jolie and her twins leave hospital

And I mean actual twins. Not 'Angelina Jolie and her twins' in the pre-pregnancy, lads' mag kind of way.

Yes, a week after giving birth, Angelina Jolie and her newborn twins Knox and Vivienne have managed to execute a Colditz-like escape from their Nice hospital. They apparently left the Lenval clinic in the early hours of Saturday morning - 4am, to be precise - to go and join Brad Pitt and the rest of the Jolie-Pitt brood at their enormous rented chateau in Correns.

"Angelina Jolie left the Clinic Santa Maria of Fondation Lenval early in the morning of July 19th," a hospital rep confirmed. "The mother and babies are doing very well."

And I'm afraid I'm being a bit sneaky with the photo here. Because the more observant, stalker-like people among you will notice that this is in fact an old shot of Angelina arriving at the hospital before she gave birth - as there are no photos of her leaving with the twins. Like I say, it was a Colditz-like escape. So I'm afraid we have no idea what she was wearing, etc. Although she probably looked a lot like this.

Or to put it another way: "We saw the cars and we thought it was her but we didn't see anything," as one observer said. And was duly reported. That's rolling news for ya, folks!
