Victoria Beckham to design range of posh frocks

Or, indeed, Posh frocks.

Victoria Beckham has revealed that she's designing a collection of "sophisticated, high end" dresses - and that she intends to unveil the range in September. Which has led to speculation that this could mean a DvB catwalk show during New York Fashion Week. Well, it was only a matter of time, wasn't it?

"It will be something completely different from what I've ever done," Victoria tells fashion bible WWD. "I'm just putting it together at the moment - they will be very up-scale dresses and likely to start at around $1,200 retail. I'm going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries."

Ooh, get her! Although to be fair, for someone who pretty much lives in expensive dresses, this fashion move at least makes sense. Coming next: Victoria Beckham's range of Stick-On Pouts. Can't wait!
