Kate Middleton and Prince William: they're talking wedding venues!
Or at least: "royal courtiers" are talking wedding venues. Yes, why let a little thing like "a lack of an engagement" get in the way of some pre-nuptial planning, eh?
According to the Daily Telegraph, the details of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding are already being discussed - and it looks like they could be following in the footsteps of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, and getting hitched at St Paul's Cathedral. If one can do something as banal as "get hitched" somewhere like St Paul's.
"William is thought to favour St George's chapel, but it would simply not be big enough to accommodate all those who would expect to be invited," a courtier tells the Torygraph. "That leaves St Paul's or Westminster Abbey, and Charles would be unlikely to want Westminster." Westminster Abbey being, of course, the scene of the funerals of both Princess Diana and Earl Mountbatten.
So, if they get married at St Paul's, will Kate truly follow in Diana's footsteps and wear a great big meringue dress? Who knows. But I can feel the nation quaking with royal wedding dress fever already. Yikes...
