Chace Crawford is in London!

Shopping! And doing a spot of sunbathing! And, erm, generally hanging out!

Yes, Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford is gracing our capital with his presence right now - and here he was yesterday, popping to the fancy clothes shops of Bond Street (where else?). Well, he needs something to replace those tatty jeans now, doesn't he?

Let's hope he doesn't get besieged by hundreds of English girls, though (unlikely). "I remember filming on the Upper East Side of New York and there were a couple of hundred girls there," Chace told ITN yesterday. "It was Friday just as high school was finishing so we were kind of asking for it. We were just like, 'OK what have we got ourselves into.'"

Well, possibly: 'life as a hot young actor', Chace. It's the cross you'll have to bear, I'm afraid.
