Big Brother 9: Sylvia is evicted, Dennis gets the boot

Yes, Sylvia became the second person to be evicted from - as opposed to booted out of - the Big Brother house last night, after receiving 90.2% of the public vote. Which was fairly overwhelming, then. Still, at least she looked nice in a long white dress with a sequined, black halterneck, and politely smiled for the cameras while people booed all around her. Aww.

Meanwhile, Perez Hilton-alike Dennis McHugh was thrown off the show for spitting at Mohamed during a drink-fuelled row - and police are now investigating the incident.

"Spitting in somebody's face is seriously offensive," said Channel 4. "Dennis was warned he faced eviction if he behaved in an unacceptable manner." So, BB bosses: why don't you just remove drink from the house? Ah no, you need it to make the show exciting, don't you?
