The secret of Gwyneth Paltrow's new look? It was all down to her stylist!

And there's no Father Christmas, either!

Yes, if you thought that Gwyneth Paltrow picked out her own clothes and shoes for her recent premieres, think again. Her transformation from Pious Macrobiotic Yoga Wife to Mini Dress And High Heel/Shoe Boot-Loving Hollywood Vamp (a superficial transformation, granted) was all down to one of her two - count 'em! - "international fashion stylists". A woman named Maria Serra.

"I never set out to give Gwyneth a new look. I just dressed her in things that I think are cool," Ms Serra tells the new issue of Elle magazine. "I picked things that I knew would look good on her and that as a stylist I would wear myself."

So there you go.
