Madonna wows Cannes (again), auctions off private gig

Another night at the Cannes Film Festival, another great look from Madonna.

This time, the outfit was a pink - or is that peach? - satin pussybow dress from Stella McCartney's spring 09 (that's right, 09) collection, coupled with killer laced Christian Louboutin shoes.

And the occasion was the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit - a star-studded dinner which raised $10 million - yes, million - dollars for the charity.

And how did they reach such a figure? Well, partly by Madonna auctioning off a "private concert" - for which someone paid the princely sum of £278,000. Which, I'm sure you'll agree, is a snip. Especially if she does Borderline.
