Madonna performs in Paris, wows private crowd
Yes, anything Kylie Minogue can do, Madonna can do... at the same time.
While Kylie Minogue was kicking off her European tour at the Bercy Stadium in Paris last night, Madonna was over at the Olympia Hall performing a private gig for 1,500 lucky fans.
Madge made her entrance seated in a black-and-gold fairytale throne - wearing the black satin bodice, satin trousers and lace-up boots (with six-inch heels) that you can see here. But she was also wearing a tailcoat with pink lining and twirling a magician's wand. Mais bien sur!
She also played up to the local crowd by telling them that it was "a historical moment" for her to be performing on the same stage as the legendary Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich - adding: "Why do I have this relationship with France? I'm always drawn to working with French people... and frenching French people. Vive la France!"
Et Vive La Madonna! Indeed.

Those boots are great, but they're definitely not 6" high.
