George Clooney celebrates his birthday with Sarah Larson, becomes friends with David and Victoria Beckham

Yes, Sarah Larson donned a mini dress, a leather jacket and peep-toe heels for the occasion of George's 47th (count 'em!) birthday. The couple celebrated at the Carlyle Hotel in New York - but without the help of their Newest Celebrity Friends, David and Victoria Beckham.

That's right, folks - after TomKat, the Beckhams have now got their claws into Larlooney. (as, erm, only I like to call them). According to the Daily Mirror, Posh and Becks bonded with Gorgeous George when they all flew on Giorgio Armani's private jet from LA to New York for Monday night's Costume Institute Gala. No, really.

"George was only recently introduced to the Beckhams but they hit it off straight away," a spy tells the paper. "He totally digs Victoria's dry, very British sense of humour and gets her jokes, which a lot of Americans don't. They went out for dinner the evening before their flight but the trio really bonded on the plane, swapping gossip and doing hilarious impressions."

Barkin, ( both ex-girlfriends),and his best friend, Richard Kind. He never dines alone w/Sarah. And she didn't get to fly to NY on the private plane. She flew in alone from Las Vegas to meet him for the first time in over a month. Strange, strange,
