Victoria Beckham is 'a nightmare', says fellow WAG Fiona Barratt

Recognise that woman on the left? Nope, nor me.

But she's none other than Fiona Barratt - you know, the Fiona Barratt! Granddaughter of the Barratt Homes man, interior designer and girlfriend of England footballer Sol Campbell. Yes, erm, her.

Anyway: Victoria Beckham will no doubt be quaking in her heels this morning after some less-than-flattering comments by her fellow WAG Fiona have been printed in today's Sun.

Speaking of the treatment of the WAGs by the paparazzi and reporters during the World Cup in 2006 - when this picture of her was taken - Fiona says: "They had no idea who I was, thought I didn't have a pot to p**s in and had no idea of my background. I didn't care and got on the bus with my Financial Times and my sudoku.

"The nonentity WAGs had to walk out first. The higher the profile, the later they were. Of course, Queen Bee Victoria came out last, there being at least ten or 15 minutes before she appeared, and her hair and make-up team were all in the lobby. I sat and watched the whole charade. Victoria Beckham... what a nightmare. She's such a prima donna."

Now, far be it from me to defend Victoria. I never knowingly have; and having a hair and make-up team in the lobby does sound ridiculous. But: the "my Financial Times and my sudoku"? Erm, call me thick, but is Fiona trying to "casually" make a point about how clever she is? And as for: "they had no idea who I was" - well, Fiona, do you mean: 'the granddaughter of someone else'?

"somebody", but you, on the other hand, are a nobody-quite unlike Mrs. Beckham.
