Salma Hayek looked guilty as charged when she was snapped shopping at Bottega Veneta in Beverly Hills without her pap-proof sunglasses on.

Was she worried partner Francois-Henri Pinault might see photographic evidence of a big spend, even after she'd hidden all the bags down the back of the wardrobe?

Or had she gone over the childminder's hours having left six month old daughter Valentina Paloma at home?

Who knows, but we're glad to see she's looking fab as ever in a black and white shift dress.

If I can look this good at 40, then bring it on!
