Ladies, ladies, ladies! What is going on?!

I scour the world wide interweb for pictures of beautiful stars on the red carpet, and am faced with Mary-Kate Lemur looking like an extra from Star Trek - and now the never-knowingly-under-beautiful Penelope Cruz looking like this.

Penelope, you're beautiful. Bee-oo-ti-fffful. You can wear anything. So why would you choose to wear an encrusted-yet-dreart, floorlength, patterned dress? Is it because you had to snog Ben Kingsley in Elegy? Are you traumatised as a result? Don't worry, my heart goes out to you. But not as much as it goes out to Mary-Kate Lemur, who had to snog him in a phone booth in her new movie. Gawd bless you both, and your stellar acting skills.
