Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow pound the treadmill together

We're guessing Madge and Gwynnie hadn't been carrying their gym kits around for days before finally dragging themselves to the local council leisure centre for a workout.

Perhaps that's why they look less runkled than we do - and that's after hitting the machines. Gwyneth opted for everywoman black lycra trousers, while her Madjesty sported some fab trackie bottoms we've seen a kajillion times before.

We can't help but be pleased to note that G&M have sweaty locks, lipstick-less lips and shades to shield exercise-induced bloodshot eyes (or is that just us?).

But mainly we're just in awe that they made it there. Trying to coordinate two A-lister's schedules, a top trainer, and bodyguards, must have taken the work of a very impressive PA.

In fact, that sounds like the kind of job we'd love... 'specially if we get first dibs on any wardrobe cast-offs (they can keep the sweaty gym stuff, mind).
