Lily Allen does an 'Amy Winehouse' and dyes her hair blonde

While most of us who saw pics of Amy Winehouse during her blonde phase made a 'eew' face and prayed for someone to give her a mirror, Lily Allen's reaction was clearly more 'Ooh, what a great look - I must try that'.

For there can be no other explanation for the new pap that surfaced over the weekend, showing Lily with matching newly dyed blonde hair.

Why Lily, why? We could forgive the Winehouse for her moment of style madness - but your copycat look is just too much to handle. And FYI, the roots are going to be a nightmare by the end of the week.

Unfortunately, the pics are far too shocking for us to publish online today (plus, our picture agency hasn't got round to putting them up yet), so here's Lily with Paris Hilton's blonde bob over her dark locks to help you visualise the horror. Yes, she looks ridiculous. But believe me, it's pretty realistic.

It only took Amy a week or so to dye her hair back. Let's hope Lily's style epiphany arrives just as quickly.
