Kimberly Stewart lunches like a gladiator

It's one of those trends you think will never last, but then summer after summer it rolls around again and you kick yourself for not splashing out the first time.

We're talking gladiator sandals (and cropped jeans) of course.

We're not quite sure about putting them together, but Kimberly with her new size 8 figure can just about pull it off.

And we're liking the fact she kept everything else nice and simple. You can't start adding gypsy fringing or sequinned cardigans when you've got that many straps and buckles adorning your pieds.

What kind of event warrants this attire? Well, Kim was out lunching in Malibu with her ex-boyfriend, Whitestarr's Cisco Adler. The pair only patched things up at a party last year - after four long years of frostiness.

P'raps Kim felt she'd thawed too early and had donned her gladiators ready to attack.
