Katie Holmes shows off new cropped hair

I just love it when celebrities get new hair-do's, particularly when I'm looking for one myself. So, thank you Katie Holmes for this great cut!

Mrs Cruise might not look, in this shot, like a woman who's in love with her new short do, but I reckon she'll be secretly pleased. As long as it's not a full-on head shave like Britney Spears, generally speaking us girls cut our hair short when we're feeling good and happy and ready to take on the world. So, Katie's look is kinda gamine and cute, a much shorter version of her bob I suppose. It reminds OSO Anna here at OSO Towers of Victoria Beckham's cut in early Spice Girls days, and we know how the two have become good buddies (although if yesterday's story is true, maybe not for much longer). The colour's great; so shiny.

Don't know why, but I think it's a haircut a girl has when she's planning on adding another baby to an already busy family. But, then, OSO Jess, our short-haired friend at OSO Towers, says it might look simple to style but actually it's harder to get short hair looking good each morning, compared to longer locks. (Is that true?). So maybe we'll have to wait a little longer for mini-Tomkat number two.

*Sigh*
