Gwyneth Paltrow's shoes steal the limelight

Rewind to yesterday afternoon, and I can just imagine the scene round at Gwyneth Paltrow's London home.

The Oscar-winner was just hours away from attending the UK premiere of her new movie, Iron Man, and she didn't have a stitch to wear. Her solution? Gwyn fell back on that failsafe combo: LBD and killer heels.

Of course, it helps if you have killer pins to match - doubtless as a result of all those recent workouts with Madonna.

According to our man with the tape measure, Ms Paltrow's heels measured a staggering - and I mean staggering - seven inches!

Gwyn's co-star Robert Downey Jnr also showed up on the red carpet - together with the usual suspects from various reality shows - but, truth be told, nobody was looking at them...
