Gossip Girl backstage gossip: Chace Crawford and Carrie Underwood split via a text

Gossip Girl rolls all my dreams into one; painfully fashionable clothes, life in New York's Upper East Side, regular parties and beautiful boys.

One in particular, my new celebrity crush (well, maybe more like my new obsession), Chace Crawford.

So you can imagine how delighted I was to discover that Chace and his girlfriend, Carrie Underwood had split up earlier on this week.

But, I do have to admit that my opinion of him has wained slightly since I discovered this morning that they split up via text message! Apparantly it was a mutual decision, but still - what harm would a simple phone call have made?

Chace, please note: should we meet, exchange numbers, go on a few dates, get papped out together, fall in love and then decide it's not working out - I want that phone call!

Anyhoo.
