Denise Van Outen: 'Sunbeds gave me scars'

Now, let me explain that title.

Denise Van Outen wasn't saying that she was attacked by sunbeds and is now covered by cuts and bruises as a result.

What our very own Olympic torchbearer and I'll Do Anything judge was saying was that long-term use of sunbeds have left her with pigmentation scars on her face - and she's described it as her "big regret".

"I used a sunbed when I was 18 because I didn't know the risks, but I'm paying for it now," says Denise - referring to the fact that she has to wear heavy make-up to cover up her scars.

"Girls are still using sunbeds, risking skin cancer for a tan," she warns. "Tans fade and it's not worth the risk. Now my tan's from a bottle and safe."

So you heard it here first, ladies. And one look at Denise leaving her home yesterday should be a warning to us all. It takes a lot of make-up to look this natural, you know...
