David Beckham and sons go to LA Lakers game, dress accordingly

Well, there are other things to wear besides an number 7 England shirt, you know. Or, indeed, a number 23 LA Galaxy shirt.

Yes, here were David, Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham yesterday, taking in some of the local culture now that they live Stateside. Namely, an LA Lakers basketball game.

The LA Lakers' strip is, as you can see, bright yellow, with purple stripes - and not too surprisingly for a man who clearly Always Thinks About What He Wears, Becks donned a coordinating purple sweatshirt for the occasion. Now, if only he'd get rid of that uncoordinating beard...

And speaking of the Beckham kids - Geri Halliwell has just revealed that motherhood has healed the rift between her and Victoria Beckham.

"I have huge admiration for Victoria," she tells You magazine. "She had her boys with her the whole time [during the Spice Girls tour] and she's done such a great job with them - they are all so well-mannered and caring. Romeo is just so sweet with Bluebell."

Aww. And only in the world of showbiz would you hear such a sentence uttered.
