Amy Winehouse goes in for questioning, spends the night in jail

Oh bless.

Maybe I'm too soft on Amy Winehouse, but I had to feel sorry for her yesterday as she arrived at a police station in London, to give a statement about an alleged assault on this night out.

The poor lass was in tears as crowds and paparazzi gathered for the latest chapter in the trainwreck (if I'm allowed to mix my metaphors) that is her life.

Looking gaunt and disheveled (yes, even more than usual) in her pale yellow top and grey checked mini skirt, she arrived for questioning at Holborn police station - but after being deemed to be "unfit to be interviewed", spent the night in police custody.

Oh Amy, Amy. Please, please got to rehab. And don't say no, no, no.
