In this case it comes in the glorious form of Mutya Buena, resplendent in denim hotpants, nasty weave and bad, bad shoes. To her credit, she's vaguely channelling Rizzo which is v in keeping with the whole Fifties rockabilly thing that's going on at the moment. Not sure they had Elizabeth Duke Jewellery at Argos back in them days, though.

If you ask me, there aren't enough chavs in showbiz ,so I'm giving her snaps anyway for so aptly representin' da endz. And for doing it unapologetically and with panache. That's more stylish than any other cookie cutter 'sleb out there (*cough* Peaches).

Which ultimately means that when Peaches bowled in to the Trash Pussies gig last night wearing high-waisted velvet shorts with flattering black opaque tights, you might have been forgiven for thinking she looked better than Mutya.

But you'd have been wrong.
