Lily Allen defects!

It's almost as bad as Jools Oliver being spotted in Tesco: Lily Allen spent the afternoon perusing the rails in River Island with a buddy.

Perhaps she couldn't find any new looks in New Look and was after something a bit different. And who can blame her? Just 'cause you do a tidy deal with one store doesn't mean your high street should be reduced to one shop, does it?

Lily could do with a pick-me-up, what with all of her current bloke issues, and she was obviously on a serious mission to shop. The flats, tights and small top meant she could try anything on, tops or bottom, even if the changing rooms were full (or is that just us?).

And we like to see that despite yesterday's-washed-hair, minimal make-up and el cheapo shopping, Lily still exuded star quality as she greeted her mate with a mwah.
