Kylie puts a Spring in our step

This is the sartorial equivalent of eating pastries in bed on a lazy Sunday while outside your window the sun shines in a painfully blue sky.

Or of the feeling we've had over the past few weeks when we've hardly dared believe it's another sunny day.

I just love this outfit! (Had you guessed?)

It's just jeans, a stripy top and coat, but the overall effect is so chic.

The blue shoes, the slouchy Breton top, the creamy wool coat, the nattily-knotted scarf... It should be the uniform of the first days of sun after nearly a year of rain.

I tell you, if I wasn't sitting at a computer I'd be hugging passers by and doing that hop, skip and tap-your-heels-together thing.
