What's this? The normally stylish Kate Hudson in a sartorially challenged moment? Surely not!

But surely, yes. And surely, it's a photo of Kate on set. For surely, that can be the only reason that she looks like this.

Yes, here was La Hudson - fresh from her Easter break with Owen Wilson - on set in New York this week, where she's filming the new movie Bride Wars with Anne Hathaway.

Bride Wars apparently tells the tale of "two best friends who become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day". It fails to mention that one of the friends has a terrible hairdo and awfully naff dress sense. But then, that goes without saying with Anne Hathaway's, doesn't it?
