Vanessa Minnillo is the best-dressed

Now, don't get me wrong. Vanessa Minnillo barely registers on my celebrity, let alone fashion, radar.

Apparently she used to host Total Request Live, was once Miss Teen USA, and now dates Jessica Simpson's ex, Nick Lachey.

And now that we've got her bio out of the way, let's get on to what she's wearing here, shall we?

Because it caught my eye, and could well earn her the title of Best-Dressed Celebrity Of The Week. Certainly Best-Dressed Slightly Obscure Celebrity Of The Week. And that's no mean feat.

The occasion was some sort of Reebok do - yes, even the event was Slightly Obscure - but Vanessa stood out a mile in this fabulous combination of knee-length dress, heels, clutch bag and cute hair thingummy (and that's a technical term).

The result: black, white and red all over. Not unlike a sunburned zebra, or a newspaper. Depending on which old gag you know.
