Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are One

Are you thinking the same as me?

When Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise stepped out for lunch and a spot of shopping in West Hollywood this Saturday, it was hard to tell them apart. Until I realised that, unusually for a star couple, it was Tom who was bearing his chest on such a fine, sunny day. Nice.

Snapped leaving the Joans on Third cafe, it looks as if TomKat have gone all out to look, well, exactly the same. From the all-black trouser suits and sunglasses, down to a matching sweeping fringe.

Maybe Tom's jealous of all the attention Katie's been getting for her style choices lately? Y'know what, for the first time, I applaud the whole 'couple dressing alike' thing. Hey, anything's got to be better than this horrible velvet number, right?

First: the word is spelled "baring" not "bearing." They sound the same but they do not mean the same.

Second: Joan's on Third (and most of 3rd Street) is in Los Angeles, not West Hollywood.

Is it possible they deliberately dressed down, all in black, in honour of the memory of Heath Ledger? They went to the memorial service held that Saturday! So this pic could be from that occasion, or they wanted the whole day to be in that spirit and that is why they both wore black. Which is a thoughtful thing to do, if you ask me!
