Natalie Portman steps out in style

Natalie-Portman-spotted-without-Scarlett-Johansson-attached-to-her-hip Shocker!

Lately it seems like every time you see Nat you see Scarlett, due to the fact that the pair have been everywhere together promoting The Other Boleyn Girl. But last night Natalie made a bid for freedom.

When she arrived at a private screening of her latest flick she gave us a glimpse of what life would be like minus the red carpet... somewhat dull. Think celebs in coats. Woo hoo.

Don't get me wrong, the coat and the corsage are stylish. The glimpse of an evening dress is intriguing and the strappy sandals are fab. But it isn't quite the same as actually seeing an outfit is it?

Thank goodness for celebs like Amy Winehouse who are happy to give us a proper look at their get-ups, whatever the weather, whatever the occasion.
