London Fashion Week: Monday round-up
It's only day two of London Fashion Week and I'm already exhausted - how does Hilary Alexandar (fashion ed for the Daily Telegraph) do this?
This morning, instead of heading down to the BFC tents, I made my way to the office to greet our interns who are helping us out this week. They're super keen to get started, although are a little wary of how tired I look.
Then it's off to the Ashley Isham off-schedule show, held at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. With a celeb-packed front row including Leah Wood, Camilla Rutherford, Lisa Butcher (What Not To Wear) and Blue Peter's Connie Huq, Isham presented a well-rounded collection. Mostly consisting of long draped evening gowns, each piece was a bold colour and belted at the waist. Not the most ground-breaking of designs, but gorgeous all the same.
Along the way, I spotted these gorgeous shoes wandering about the shows, and just had to take a pic! Of course, then I searched for a pair for myself on OSOYOU.com - and found these gorgeous Office look-a-likes! Click here to nab yourself a pair now!

Celebs also filled the front row at the PPQ show where the likes of Lily Allen, Sophie Ellis Bextor and the Geldof sisters mingled with the fash pack. Meanwhile, at the Eley Kishimoto, models looked like they'd just stepped out of a yellow submarine in printed dresses, which were accessorised with white tights and gloves.
London welcomed back iconic British label Ossie Clark with open arms. His strongly-coloured, print-based collection managed to tick all the right boxes - we're already seeing colour trends of turquoise blue, deep yellow and teal.
But it was Topshop collaborator Louise Goldin, who most of us were waiting for. Her futuristic vision of Space Eskimos in padded parka jackets and body con knits was enough to impress the journalist-heavy front row.
Three parties in the evening topped off yet another full day at LFW... think I need a nap now!
