Silly sunglasses # 2: Nicky Hilton's fly eyes.
She's pictured here having a bit of a shopping spree, so you can see her logic. Flies have multi-faceted eyes that can see everywhere at once, do they not?
I would have thought that being able to see all the clothes rails/ stacks of homeware as soon as you walk into a shop would be a useful and time-saving device when trying to fit a spree into your busy schedule.
Of course, Nicky Hilton doesn't have a busy schedule as far as I'm aware. In which case, maybe she's wearing them to lessen the risk of being swatted.

I do believe that Sienna's powder blue sunglasses are from the new Ray-Ban Wayfarer range. I also believe that they look like she's taken them out of a nearby toybox.
But who's to say that's a bad thing? I'm hoping the theme will take off and eventually include, say, plastic click-clack heels and an old dress of your mum's (the one that was comically passe until it crossed some invisible line in the space-time continuum and became vintage).
Anyhoo. Here's Sienna, wearing aforesaid sunnies inside Heathrow airport (they really should do something about the harmful ultraviolet rays in that place) having just landed from LA, and looking splendid in high-high boots and a daringly bright white coat.
A pleasingly high-maintenance flight outfit from one of our favourite fash icons.

In our quest to stay on the pulse of high street fashion, it's important not to forget about those essential basics. The key to a successful wardobe, in my opinion.
This cute mauve tank from Miss Selfridge has caught my eye today for a couple of reasons.
1. Its colour. Moving on from the deep purple that was so popular in Autumn, this pastel shade with a hint of grey brings it into Spring/Summer.
2. The material. This cotton nylon mix means you can stay warm whilst still showing a little skin in our attempt to bring on Summer.

When Ashlee Simpson dyed her hair bright red, I was convinced it was a style no-no.
'What can you wear with that colour hair, apart from black?' I said to myself. Then I saw her out and about in a bright pink frock coat (click here to find out how to recreate the look) - and realised you never say never in the world of fashion.
Admittedly, Ashlee stuck to safe black for her appearance on MTV's Total Request Live yesterday - but check out those lips! That's baby pink if ever I saw it - my ginger sister's number one style enemy.
Ashlee obviously knows pink lips are where it's at this season - and has a very clever make-up artist who knows how to work them, even with red hair.

Blimey, Lynne Spears is really getting into her 'tough love' role, isn't she?
Not content with battling it out in the courts to protect daughter Britney from her 'manager' Osama Lufti, she donned a hoodie for her return to LA yesterday - presumably to reinforce her now 'hard' image.
Of course, as hoodies go, it's not exactly gangsta. You'll find ribbed cream knit will take the edge off most ghetto wear.
But hey, it's a start. The tattoos, bling and 'hos will probably come later.

Wayne Rooney fulfilled all Coleen's fantasies in Italy yesterday - and he didn’t even have the ‘moody man shopping with girlfriend’ face.
If only he'd had a shave, it would have been perfect.
The recently engaged couple spent a bit of well deserved together time in the city doing what Coleen does best - shopping.
She dressed appropriately for the occasion, with some pretty red peep-toe courts and a cream mac worn over jeans. She completed her look by accessorising with giant sunglasses and a well-dressed fiance in a leather jacket.

So it’s no surprise to see they could be true sisters (in law at least), as Paris has been secretly dating (Don’t you just love when celebs do that?) Benji Madden, brother of Joel, who's shacked up with Nicole Richie.
Good Charlotte guitarist Benji was spotted shopping with new love Paris, proving she’s already got him well trained. Carrying the bags too - it must be love.
They’re even doing that thing that 'sleb couples do when they’re really in love – colour co-ordinating their outfits. Posh & Becks in matching Gucci ring any bells?
Let’s hope they don’t morph into each other too much. Paris Hilton covered in tattoos wouldn't be a good look. And Benji Madden saying “that’s hot”? So wrong.

Real mums look like hell in the morning. After a night of broken sleep, they slump out of bed, pull on the nearest pair of jeans & comfy boots, wrestle their little darling into something that resembles a school uniform, and head for the school gate.
And - look at this - internationally famous, style icon SJP is no different!!! Yes, Sex and the City's style doyenne has opted for UGGs, jeans and a big old woolly hat as she packs her son 'Mini Broderick' (can you think of anything more cute..) off for school.
Thank the lord for that! I was beginning to think being a celebrity solved everything in life.

It's not something you think about every day. What does one wear to visit one's husband in prison? You don't want to stand out... but would you really want to blend in either?
Being one of the crowd isn't something Amy's exactly famous for, but by the look of things she's gone to some effort to hide her beehive (rather unconvincingly) and make sure she's wearing both breasts. As you do.
