Mel B takes a trip over New Year

Oh dear, it seems the Spice Girls’ ankles are cursed!

After Emma Bunton's little accident before Christmas when she ended up in a cast, Geri has revealed that Mel B took a tumble down the stairs at their New Years Eve party in Claridges.

Talking to fans at their concert this Wednesday, she explained:

“Mel B got so drunk, she fell down a flight of stairs and twisted her ankle, so she won’t be busting the moves tonight.”

Sounds like a time for trusty UGG boots if ever there was one!

I can’t imagine Mel wore them onstage though. I get the feeling it’s fashion over practicality every time for these girls.

Me? You wouldn’t have caught me up there in anything other than my slippers!
