Lauren Bush helps feed the world

American model Lauren Bush (yes, she is related to George W: she's his niece) attended the launch of the "Feed 1 bag" campaign at Harrods yesterday. And jolly lovely she looked at the event too!

"Feed 1 Bag" aims to raise awareness about child hunger and build funds for the UN World Food Programme’s school feeding programme. The goal is to help children get into school and out of hunger. Each FEED 1 bag sold will provide a year of school lunches for one child in need – and give them the hope of both an education and a brighter future. Now that's what I call feel good shopping!

Even without the feed the world feel good factor, cotton bags look stylish and are eco friendly, making them bang on trend for this season: everyone from designer to highstreet is producing cotton bags at the mo as an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic bags.

In fact, i've seen a rather lovely Louis Vuitton one that i'm busy adding to my Stylefile as we speak....
