Super-über-model Gisele Bündchen is in New York right now. Which is quite a coincidence, because so am I. Fancy!
I have yet to bump into the super-über-Bündchen, however - although if I wanted to, it seems I should be hanging out in the West Village. Because that's where she was snapped on Saturday.
And as you can see, Gisele is favouring the look recently sported by that other famous West Village resident, Sarah Jessica Parker. Namely: grey jeans and biker boots. Alesha, Alesha, Alesha: it's one thing to take on the ballroom dancing world. It's quite another to take on its fashion sense.
Yes, it seems that the lovely Alesha Dixon has taken this whole Strictly Come Dancing thing just a little too seriously. I'm not sure there's any other explanation for the dress she wore to her celebration party at Kenza on Saturday. Ouch.
Still: onto far more exciting matters. And when I say 'exciting', I mean, of course, gossipy. Because Alesha's fellow Strictly finalist Matt di Angelo was also in attendance at her party - and yesterday's People newspaper was full of an interview by his dance partner Flavia's former boyfriend (keep up there at the back), Vincent Simone.
Not too surprisingly, Vincent is not a happy bunny at all about Flavia's romance with Matt - yes, it seems he chose her over Alesha - telling the paper: "He has stolen the only woman I've ever loved... She's the love of my life and I thought we'd be together forever and get married but now I don't know what's going on... I told her I couldn't cope with doing the tour if I had to see them together. The thought just tears me apart inside." Bless!
And that's not all - Vincent also has an axe to grind about Tess Daly. But then, don't we all? "I'm really p***ed off with Tess for stirring up their relationship," he tells People. You tell 'em, Vince! The people of Britain are behind you every cha-cha-cha step of the way.

Paris Hilton and sister Nicky joined a gaggle of celebs at the opening of new LA club, Goa.
Paris sported a brown bodycon dress with beading along the body and around the hem (no doubt to show off the beach body she perfected for Christmas day) She teamed the dress with a quilted chain handbag, an oversized bracelet and ring, and not alot else. Jealous anyone?
Still, she may have the money and the figure, but I get to polish off the last of the festive mince pies. And you can't have everything.......

Nicole and husband Keith Urban have announced that 18 months after their wedding, they are expecting their first child.
According to the Daily Mail, the couple broke the news to their excited families over Christmas. Well, that's a present that beats another pair of socks anyway!
The baby will be the Nicoles first natural child, a sibling to Isabella and Connor whom she adopted with first husband Tom Cruise. And Nicole is already excited about the prospect of motherhood, saying she's starting to wind down her filming commitments next year to spend time with her family.
This is bad news as it means no more glamourous red carpet dresses from Nicole. The good news? She won't fit into that scary silver suit any more. And we get to see her dress a brand new baby bump instead! Every cloud...
**Update, December 31**: Nicole's people have denied the story. Doh! "It is incorrect," her spokeswoman tells the Melbourne Herald Sun. "She must have had about 30 babies by now... It's the silly season. As far as we're concerned, it's another rumour out of London." That said, an "unnamed source" says that Nicole "did have a small baby bump a month ago, so it would be reasonable that she'd now be three months and telling her friends and family." Confused? So are we. Still, nothing new there.

Although, hang on a minute - music? Has Liz heard 'Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi'?
Well, whatever the (loco)motivation, Kylie is indeed to receive an OBE in the Queen's new year's honours list - and the singer says she's "deeply touched" by it.
"I am almost as surprised as I am honoured to be awarded an OBE by Her Majesty The Queen," says Kylie's statement. "I feel deeply touched to be acknowledged by the UK, my adopted home, in this way. This last year I have felt so much love and support from everyone as I took greater steps back into the public domain, and it is with absolute gratitude and joy that I say farewell to 2007 and look forward to what the New Year will bring."
*Dabs eye with hankie.*
Aww, bless. Well, congratulations Kylie - we look forward to seeing what you wear for the awards ceremony. Hopefully a tasteful little number which matches Sir Michael Parkinson's.

Yes, if you were wondering what the Olsen twins will look like when they're all grown-up, then look no further than The Fergie-licious One here.
Fergie was snapped in California on Thursday, looking not-at-all-shabby in green jeans, teal boots and a matching scarf. A combination which surely looks better in the flesh than it does written down like that.
She was also sporting a great big rock on her engagement ring finger - a fact which she cleverly enhanced by carrying her handbag Margaret Thatcher-style on her elbow. I don't recommend doing this yourself unless you are a) a little old lady, b) the Queen, or c) trying to show off a great big rock on your engagement finger.
As Fergie falls into the c) category, we'll allow it. Rumour has it she got engaged to her actor boyfriend Josh Duhamel on Christmas Day. And hell, if I'd been proposed to by a Transformers star, then I think I'd want to show it off, too. Especially if it was Optimus Prime.

A very tiny bump, admittedly - but a bump all the same.
Lily, who's pregnant with her first child, had the honour of being The Celebrity To Open This Year's Harrods Sale. The privilege has in the past gone to the likes of Christina Aguilera and Eva Longoria - and given the princely pay packet usually involved (as well as first dibs at sale items, hopefully), it is a privilege indeed.
Our young pop queen looked lovely in a black sequin, low-backed dress which she teamed with black opaque tights and killer chunky silver heels. (And in case you're wondering: yes, that's Mohammed Al Fayed in the background there. How nice of him to co-ordinate with her!)

Yes, Lindsay is back in New York - did you miss her, people of Manhattan? - and while the Daily Mail placed her and her Olivia Newton-John trousers out on a date with Devil Wears Prada actor Adrien Grenier (don't worry, I can't remember who he is, either), according to the picture agency, she had a nice night out with her sister and her dad, at a restaurant and then an ice-hockey game.
Knowing Lindsay, she probably actually packed in all of the above. And possibly, in those trousers, a roller-disco, to boot.
