Hayden Panettiere announces Golden Globe awards nominees

Lucky it wasn't style awards, eh Hayden?

The Heroes star announced the nominees for the 65th annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills yesterday, alongside Ryan Reynolds and Quentin Tarantino.

Angelina Jolie, Keira Knightley and Cate Blanchett are all up against each other for best actress.

But enough of the real news - back to Hayden's awful outfit. I usually love her simple, classy style - but this rather unflattering cream polo neck has to be a bit of a fashion faux pas.

Hasn’t anyone told you halter necks are so last year, Hayden? And teaming it with a black pencil skirt doesn't make it any better, especially with those pale pins.

I'm hoping to see a bigger effort for the awards themselves, Ms Panettiere!
