Girls Aloud dazzle at the St Trinians premiere

Girls Aloud sure know how to work the red carpet don't they? Always in co-ordinating sparkle, always moving in a pack - they're a force to be reckoned with really. Whether or not the event has anything to do with them.

Such was the scene at last night's St Trinians film premiere at Leceister Square. But the Girls weren't just there to look pretty, they all star in the film. Alongside the lovely Colin Firth and Rupert Everett, each member of Girls Aloud don school uniforms for the film version of the classic TV show. And they're outfits rival Britney's turn as a schoolgirl. Does anyone remember sporting suspenders with their hiked up school skirts? No? Just me then?

Thankfully the Girls wardrobe choices were a tad tame for the premiere. Nadine paired her deep winter tan with a shimmering black and silver brocade mini dress and opted to brave the cold in bare legs. Nicola, a tad paler than rest, wore a sparkler inspired by peacock feathers. Kimberley looked gorgeous in a gold studded dress with the ever fashionable black opaque tights. Sarah chose a shimmering silver and blue frock and wore strappy silver heels with her tights. Cheryl wore a black and silver sequin dress with opaques, but didn't manage to look as polished as the others due to the several alice bands in her hair that just didn't work.

We'll likely be seeing even more of at least one of the Girls on the premiere circuit. Apparently Sarah would love to do more acting. I predict more short-skirted roles in her future.
