Sarah Harding sparkles while promoting Girls Aloud album

At first look Sarah Harding's latest outfit isn't anything special.

Here she is leaving the Radio One Live Lounge in black boots, grey jeans... we all have those. The black wrap coat is a stylish shape and her ivory leather bag is a lovely change to the ubiquitous black patent. Her scarf hits the chunky knit trend head on.

But just a bit boring, no?

Wait, what's that bit of sparkle on her head? That's right it's a tea cosy hat covered in sequins. Perfect for a glamazon like Sarah. And what better way to say, 'Don't let the scuffed boots fool you, I'm all about the glamour.'

I can say from experience that a pop star is possibly the only one who can pull this off. No, I'm not speaking from the perspective of a pop star. Just a wannabe who tried a
sequin beret on one day hoping for the slight chance I wouldn't look ridiculous.

But dear Sarah has inspired me to try it again. You've got to have a little tenacity in fashion.
